Norwegian Cruise Line Closes Thermal Spa Staterooms

In an unexpected move, Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that they are "reclassifying" all staterooms, which formerly included access to the thermal spa in the price, reports CruiseRadio.net.

The change aims to "provide more availability and access" to the spa. Staterooms like The Haven Spa Suites and Spa Club Balconies will be recategorized to traditional staterooms, effective for sailings post-JAN 2024. Existing reservations will retain spa access unless changes impacting the fare are made, voiding the complimentary passes.

So far, social media reactions vary: some speculate a potential price hike for spa access due to its popularity, while others suggest booking a basic stateroom and adding the spa pass could be more cost-effective.
