Scenic to Offer Sub Experience for Great Barrier Reef

Scenic will introduce a submersible experience for guests on its Scenic Eclipse II cruise, becoming the first commercial operator to do so in the Great Barrier Reef, reports Cruise Industry News.

Passengers can dive up to 600 feet beneath the surface using the Scenic Neptune II. Accommodating up to eight people plus an expert pilot, the submersible offers a novel reef perspective. As part of Australia's Top End itinerary, starting 30APR 2024, visitors will explore from Cairns to Darwin, with prices from USD $14,515. Additional excursions include flightseeing and helicopter tours.
