Oh Poop: Giraffe Feces For A Necklace Seized At Minneapolis Airport

Customs officials at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport confiscated a box of giraffe feces from a passenger returning from Kenya in SEP, who intended to use it for jewelry making, reports Simple Flying.

The woman previously used moose excrement for similar purposes in Iowa. We’ve heard of scat scouting, but this is a whole other kind of bagging.

Apparently the only reason she was not permitted to carry out her crappy plan is because she did not possess the necessary Veterinary Services Permit.

The feces were destroyed following Department of Agriculture protocol due to potential disease threats, including African Swine Fever and Foot and Mouth disease. While the passenger faced no fines after surrendering the feces, US Customs and Border Protection emphasized the importance of declaring agricultural and biological items to protect US biodiversity and health.

No shit.
