MSC Revises MSC Sinfonia and MSC Musica East Mediterranean Itineraries

MSC Sinfonia

Due to the geopolitical situation in Israel, MSC Cruises has changed the East Mediterranean routes for its ships, MSC Sinfonia and MSC Musica.

MSC Sinfonia will replace Haifa, Israel, with Istanbul, Turkey; Rhodes, with Piraeus, Greece; and Limassol, Cyprus, with Izmir, Turkey. From 21OCT, its new route includes Italian ports (Genoa, Civitavecchia, Messina), followed by Piraeus, Izmir, Istanbul, and Heraklion in Crete.

MSC Musica will replace its Haifa stops with Rhodes (18OCT and 25OCT) and Marmaris in Turkey (01NOV).

MSC Cruises CEO, Gianni Onorato, emphasized passenger and crew safety as the reason behind these changes. "The safety of our passengers and crew is always our top priority and we have worked rapidly to revise the itineraries of MSC Sinfonia and MSC Musica to offer an extremely attractive alternative for the winter months."

Between 15OCT 2023 and 06JAN 2024, 11 sailings for MSC Musica and MSC Sinfonia have been updated:

  • MSC Musica has three revised seven-night departures from Piraeus:
    • 15OCT
    • 22OCT
    • 29OCT
  • MSC Sinfonia has eight updated 11-night departures from Genoa:
    • 21OCT
    • 01NOV
    • 12NOV
    • 23NOV
    • 04DEC
    • 15DEC
    • 26DEC
    • 06JAN

Following these changes, MSC Musica will proceed with its planned itinerary from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and MSC Sinfonia from Genoa, Italy.
