"We are very excited about this new service," said Bob Cummings, WestJet Executive Vice-President of Guest Experience and Marketing. "The response has been terrific so far and we are confident it will be extremely popular throughout the winter months. We would like to thank our guests who will be travelling on this new route and hope they'll spread the word!"

WestJet will fly between Toronto and Miami five times per week from now until December 17, 2009, when the frequency will increase to daily service. As the service is seasonal, it will stop at the end of April 2010.
