The survey showed that interest in travel has fallen in Canada by 4 percentage points.
The report also indicates declining travel intentions in Europe, with France and Germany showing notable decreases. While travel in China has surged, Oxford Economics warns that the enthusiasm might be short-lived due to economic factors.
Moreover, interest among Chinese tourists in North America has significantly decreased. Although outbound Chinese travel is predicted to grow, Oxford Economics suggests that the heightened travel demand caused by the pandemic might soon diminish, especially as global economic uncertainties persist.
