Mélanie Joly Visits Israel as Evacuation Flights Begin, Number of Missing Canadians Grows

Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly is visiting Israel while Ottawa’s evacuation flights begin and as the number of missing Canadians escalates, reports the Globe and Mail.

As the situation unfolds, 800 people are estimated to need evacuation from Israel, with others stranded in the West Bank and Gaza. Meanwhile, Canada announced CAD $10 million in humanitarian aid, and the number of Canadians missing due to the conflict has risen to four.
