Open Jaw attended the presentation by Alexis von Hoensbroech, who drew a line in the leisure sand, saying that, with Sunwing, WS now offers "more seats than any other Canadian airline." This capacity is spread across 230 nonstop routes, connecting 26 Canadian communities to 55 sun destinations in the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.

The newly formed Sunwing Vacations Group, encompassing both Sunwing Vacations and WestJet Vacations, furthers the WestJet Group's strategy of affordable year-round leisure travel, making it the largest Canadian tour operator.
