Proximity to the airport is a top consideration when choosing a departure point, even more so than the ticket price. Payment convenience is vital, with credit/debit cards being the most popular method.

Airport processes need to be streamlined, with passengers wanting to use biometrics, complete tasks off-site, and arrive ready to fly. IATA's One ID initiative aims to revolutionize airport processes, making travel more efficient while ensuring security.
