Royal Caribbean Name for New 2025 Cruise Ship: Star of the Seas

Royal Caribbean's newly named cruise ship, "Star of the Seas," is set to launch in the summer of 2025 as the second vessel in the "Icon Class," reports Caribbean Journal. This announcement follows the debut of "Icon of the Seas."

The decision to reveal the name is a response to high consumer demand, with the previous ship's launch resulting in record bookings and an early release of 2025-2026 itineraries. "Star of the Seas" will also contribute to sustainability as the third Royal Caribbean ship powered by liquefied natural gas.
