TICO Explains Why Industry Board Seat Election Cancelled
Open Jaw

Travel Industry Council of Ontario CEO Michael Pepper says 'expediency' is behind the decision to cancel the election for an industry seat on the TICO board.

Pepper states that the TICO Board recognizes that the loss of an industry seat will disappoint industry members. 'The choice to give the Minister an elected seat was based on expediency as the seat is vacant and the TICO Board needed to comply with the Minister's request within a short time frame.'
