Arajet recently received its sixth aircraft, a Boeing 737 MAX 8, reports Simple Flying. The airline also launched a new international route connecting Santo Domingo Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) with Montreal International Airport (YUL), with four weekly flights operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
The airline expects to close the year with a fleet of 10 aircraft, which would double its fleet size compared to January. Arajet's next goal is to continue adding destinations in the Americas, particularly the United States, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia.
