Expedia.ca(TM) today announces its partnership with VIA Rail Canada, making it the first online travel agency to offer Canadians the option to book reservations on the national passenger rail service. The service allows customers to book trains serving the Windsor to Quebec City Corridor.

"Canadians using Expedia.ca can now discover destinations in Ontario and Quebec with a trusted national rail service - a truly unique and authentic travel experience" said Sean Shannon, Managing Director of Expedia.ca.

"This partnership between VIA and Expedia.ca will allow even more travellers to discover the benefits of train travel, and make it even easier for them to make their travel plans," said Steve Del Bosco, VIA's Chief Customer Officer.

The new VIA Rail selection on Expedia.ca allows users to browse and search destinations and departure times to find their perfect rail adventure. Featured fares highlight the best and most up- to-date deals departing from cities like Montreal, Toronto and Quebec City. The tab also features a helpful destination guide and links to traveller tools for more information.
