Laura Scaffidi, press secretary to Canada’s transport minister, emphasized the government's commitment to aviation security. Meanwhile, the RCMP, while confirming the investigation, provided no further details. Earlier in the week, India had urged Canada to enhance security for Air India flights departing from Vancouver and Toronto. The video, posted by Sikhs for Justice, denies being a threat but calls for a boycott, citing concerns about funds supporting perceived threats to Sikhs.
