SWIFT THINKING

Swifties at Sea: A Taylor-Made Cruise For Taylor Swift Fans

Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas

Taylor Swift fans are already booking tickets for concerts next year in far away cities. Now they can join in celebrating the world’s biggest star on of the world’s biggest ships.

CNBC reports that a travel agency called Marvelous Mouse Travels is organizing a fan-led Facebook cruise group for “Swifties.”

The cruise, which is not affiliated with Swift herself, will take place aboard the Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas.

The cruise begins in Miami on 21OCT 2024, the day after Swift ends her three-show run in the city. (Very clever.)

Prices start at $1,573 USD for double occupancy and includes food and basic drinks like coffee and tea, CNBC said. Premium add-ons will cost extra.

Organizers say they expect to sell out the cruise and are already considering another one.

“We are already looking into new dates and sailings because this crazy idea we had has been so well received,” one of the organizers said on the Facebook page.

Cruises with musical acts are quite popular, but this is strictly a fan celebration. Unless, of course, Swift surprises everyone and buys a ticket.
