Direct Travel Canada Hosts 160+ at First Corporate Symposium in Fort Lauderdale

Direct Travel Canada's corporate travel division recently met in Fort Lauderdale for the company's first corporate travel symposium.

The company said in a statement that the event, which was held in late October, was designed as an opportunity for senior executives, managers and advisors to connect and learn about developments in business travel.

"Corporate client travel managers were also invited to partake in select sessions, giving them the chance to meet our team – in person for many for the first time," said Direct Travel President Canada West Brian Robertson.

Preferred partners, including Air Canada, United Airlines, Hilton Worldwide, Enterprise Mobility, WestJet and Choice Hotels, also attended, bringing the total number of participants to over 160.

"I'd like to add my heartfelt gratitude to our team members, corporate customers and preferred suppliers who all made this such a milestone event," said Joel Ostrov, President of les Services Direct Travel in Eastern Canada.

Topics explored at the event included elevating the customer experience, innovative technologies, AI, and sustainability initiatives.
