Marriott has introduced its first Edition property in the Caribbean, the Riviera Maya Edition at Kanai, marking a departure from traditional hotel chains, reports Caribbean Journal.
Describing itself as the "anti-hotel chain," Edition emphasizes individualized experiences and modern luxury. Located in a mangrove forest within a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the property includes 182 guest rooms, a lagoon-style pool, and a penthouse suite. Dining options include five restaurants featuring renowned Mexican chefs. Additionally, a "cenote-inspired" spa enhances the wellness experience.
