TravelOnly has announced that Shannon Smith will be named the new Director of Training. Smith was previously the Director of Sales at TravelBrands, and will be one of the first staff members that new advisors will meet when first joining TravelOnly and will spearhead all training programs and development initiatives throughout the corporation.

The appointment comes as TravelOnly is positioning themselves to provide additional support for home-based travel advisors to manage the expected uptick in travel demand post-pandemic.

“We couldn’t think of a better fit for our team,” explains President and CEO of TravelOnly, Gregory Luciani. “We needed the best-of-the-best to support our travel advisors and when there was an opportunity to bring Shannon into the TravelOnly family we didn’t hesitate. We can’t wait to get started and look forward to a very bright and successful future.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with TravelOnly for many years and I have always felt like I was ‘part of the family’ and now I am. I am thrilled to be working alongside the leadership team as their Director of Training, “ says Smith. “I believe my extensive history in the travel industry brings a unique understanding of both the retail and wholesale industry which will be key to bringing a fresh new perspective.”
