Showcasing the traditions and flavours of Mexico, the new Mexican Wake Up Call at Mar del Cabo by Velas Resorts includes a basket of sourdough conchas fresh out of the oven, crema de rancho, homemade fruit jam, and a fresh pot of cafe de olla. The new amenity of Mexican-themed delights are delivered at the guest’s preferred time with a friendly knock on the door - as opposed to a harsh BRRRING BRRRING call to the room. The iconic "concha" is made from a sweet dough topped with a crunchy sugar crust.
The pastry delivered fresh from the oven, is paired with a savoury organic creme fraiche from a local ranch. To top it all off, a fresh pot of "cafe de olla" is served.
The traditional Mexican coffee is brewed in a clay pot. With its blend of freshly ground coffee beans, cinnamon sticks, piloncillo, and spices, it's the perfect accompaniment to the Mexican breakfast experience.
