Air Transat announced its winter season schedule across Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes.
At the season's peak, the airline's schedule will include nearly 300 nonstop flights from seven Canadian cities per week.
In addition to Toronto, Ottawa and London, it will offer flights from Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax and Moncton.
At the height of the season, more than 270 nonstop weekly flights will be offered to various destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, Europe, Florida, and North Africa. Toronto, Ottawa, and London will offer around 100 nonstop flights, Montreal and Quebec City will offer more than 170 nonstop flights, and Halifax and Moncton will offer nonstop flights to 10 destinations.
"For the 2024-2025 winter season, we are favouring growth focused on our flagship destinations," said Sebastian Ponce, chief revenue officer of Transat.
"Leveraging our partnership with Porter Airlines and our annual routes to Europe, we are able to take advantage of their expansion into the domestic market to reach a wider audience."
To the South
The airline is increasing flight frequencies from Toronto Pearson (YYZ) to destinations like Cancun (CUN) and Punta Cana (PUJ) while also adding more capacity on routes to San Jose. Additionally, it will resume flights to its most popular sun destinations from Ottawa (YOW) and London (YXU).
