Collette to Launch Portugal ‘Old World Charms’ in 2025

Collette’s ‘Portugal’s Old World Charms’ Launches June 2025

Collette’s new “Portugal’s Old World Charms” tour will launch its first departure in June 2025.

The small-group Explorations journey has a maximum group size of just 24 travellers.

“Portugal is a consistent hot spot for travel - beautiful beaches, hillside towns, food, wine, culture and more,” said Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, chief executive officer at Collette. “This journey was designed for the culturally curious traveller who enjoys a blend of guided and leisure time on tour, simple but high-quality cuisine and wine, and history. The pacing of this tour allows travellers to feel the authenticity of a destination by spending time in each place rather than rushing through sight after sight.”

The 10-day itinerary features a cruise through the most scenic route of the Douro River Valley, where travellers will stop at the vineyards to learn about the wine harvesting process. Other highlights include a guided walking tour of Evora, a stop at Olive Grove in Alentejo for a farm-to-table lunch, and much more.

Prices starting at CAD $4,999 pp.
