Caribbean Cruising Returns with Celebrity Cruises’ First Sailing Offshore from St. Maarten

Celebrity Cruises returned to service on 05JUN from St. Maarten as the Celebrity Millennium set sail, which is also the first time the line had homeported from the country. The ship will be operating Caribbean itineraries until AUG. The Celebrity Millennium will be the first cruise ship to set sail in the Caribbean since the beginning of the pandemic, and will be sailing with a fully vaccinated crew and at least 95% vaccinated travellers. Celebrity has added a new app to help enforce safety measures, but travellers only need to wear a mask during terminal check-in and -out processes. Celebrity President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said: “I am so happy to have our crew back on board doing what they love and providing amazing vacations and service to our guests.”
