Portugal Reopens to Non-Essential U.S. Travel

According to the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Portugal, non-essential American travellers can now enter the country as long as they submit a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of travel, or 24 hours for a rapid antigen test. This new measure runs until 27JUN 2021 and will be reviewed for renewal at that date. The embassy and consulate also noted that Portugal remains in a "state of calamity," with some restrictions still in place for restaurants and tourist attractions, among others.
