Hawaii Lifts More Travel Curbs

Hawaii is changing some rules on travel restrictions for vaccinated visitors, as trans-Pacific travellers, along with those vaccinated in Hawaii no longer need proof of a negative COVID-19 test or quarantining. It will be extended to all vaccinated travelers when the state's vaccination rate meets 60%. "The easing of travel restrictions is a direct result of our robust vaccination rate. We need to push hard now so we can get to the point where Safe Travels is no longer needed to keep the people of Hawaii safe," Hawaii Gov. David Ige said. These new rules came as the state reached a 55% fully vaccinated rate, and all travel restrictions will be lifted when that number reaches 70%.
