Hong Kong Approves Plans to Ease Restrictions for Vaccinated Travellers, Including Canadians

The government of Hong Kong has signaled plans to adjust quarantine requirements for vaccinated travellers, including Canadians. The current travel requirements to the region will be adjusted in phases, and entry restrictions for non-Hong Kong residents from that countries that do not belong to "Groups A2 or A2" are set to be relaxed. Canada is currently in the "Group B" category. For entry, proof of vaccination will be required. Currently, non-Hong Kong residents from the "Group D" category, Australia and New Zealand, as well as mainland China and Macao can enter the region with less restrictions.
