Biz Travelers Want Flexibility Post-Pandemic: Survey

As business travel resumes, many travellers are willing to leave again, but they expect companies to support them more by adopting more flexible travel policies, according to a survey from SUP Concur. The study, conducted by Wakefield Research, polled 3,850 business travelers in 25 worldwide markets between 15APR and 10MAY 2021. 96 percent of respondents indicated they were willing to travel during the next year, and also showed widespread demand for more flexibility in corporate policies as travel resumes. Specific demands related to flexibility included being allowed to select preferred accommodations and mode of travel. 39 per cent of respondents said they wanted the option to book travel directly on supplier websites, and an identical percentage expressed a desire to determine the length of the trip.
