Air Canada's Latest Safety Video Pays Tribute to Canada's Landscape; Tourism

Air Canada has shared its new on-board pre-flight safety video, titled Ode to Canada, featuring some of the country's most scenic landscapes and iconic locations.

"Air Canada's new Ode to Canada safety video is a celebration of the best of Canada from coast-to-coast-to-coast. Including our own uniformed employees who are responsible for the safety of every Air Canada flight, our new video presents all aircraft safety instructions in a compelling, associative way by drawing on some of our country's most spectacular scenery and visually connecting viewers to each province and territory through all four seasons," said Andrew Shibata, Vice President – Brand at Air Canada.

According to Shibata, it has been almost seven years since the airline produced a new safety video. Ode to Canada is also intended to provide a warm welcome to returning Canadian travellers and to invite foreign ones to explore everything the country has to offer to support Canadian tourism and hospitality sectors.

The locations and places featured in Ode to Canada are from visuals from every province and territory, including Newfoundland & Labrador's Gros Morne National Park; Manitoba's Little Limestone Lake; Northwest Territories' Northern Lights; Quebec's art and culture experiences; and more.
