Windstar Adds Benefits to Star Specialist Program for Advisors

Last week, Windstar Cruises announced an expansion to its star specialist program for travel advisors.

The recently revamped program consists of three courses that average about 15 minutes to complete each: “The Windstar Difference & Onboard Experiences,” “Destinations & Regional Fast Facts,” and “Selling Windstar: Sales Support & Resources.”

Now, each time an advisor completes an individual course, they qualify for a bonus commission of $50 dollars on their first Windstar booking made within 120 days of completion. Completing all three courses nets a commission of $150.

Other benefits of graduating from Windstar’s program include an official certificate, two credits from the Travel Institute and three from the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies, 5 elective credits from Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), priority confirmation for travel advisor appreciation fare booking, and an official Windstar logo for the advisor’s marketing materials.
