Ponant and Smithsonian Journeys Announce 2022 Itineraries

Ponant and Smithsonian Journeys, which announced their partnership earlier in 2021, have released their itineraries for winter 2022.

These cruises will take guests exploring in the natural world, including the ruins of Greece, whale watching in Iceland, the glaciers of Antarctica and the Arctic, the cuisine of Japan, and many more. Journeys closer to North America are also available, such as the Great Lakes, Costa Rica, Panama, and the Caribbean.

For each sailing, Smithsonian Journeys Experts will be on board to provide relevant information to guests about the destinations visited.

• Panama and Costa Rica by Sea: The Natural Wonders of Central America - 8 days from 24 to 31JAN 2022
• Cruising the Caribbean’s Windward Islands - 8 days from 13 to 20FEB 2022
• Treasures of Japan by Sea - 8 days from 15 to 22APR 2022
• Iceland Voyage: Land of Fire and Ice - 8 days from 06 to 13JUN 2022 or 08 to 15AUG 2022
• Cruising Arctic Norway: Glaciers, Ice Floes, and Polar Bears - 10 days from 14 to 23JUN 2022
• Cruising French Polynesia: Tahiti, Bora Bora, and the Tuamotus - 11 days from 07 to 17SEP 2022
• A Voyage along the Great Lakes - 8 days from 18 to 25SEP 2022
