As travel begins to pick up, travel requirements and restrictions are changing rapidly depending on the situation. Fully vaccinated travellers returning to Canada can arrive without quarantine, but must submit vaccination proof on the ArriveCAN app or register online within 72 hours before arrival. Both land and air travellers will be tested for COVID-19 upon arrival in Canada, or be given a home test kit. The tests are provided for free and travellers can pre-register online to save time. For domestic Canadian travel, those going by air don't have to take a pre-arrival COVID-19 test. However, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, Manitoba and the territories still require some inter-provincial travellers to quarantine, which vary depending on vaccination status and/or where the tourist is travelling from. Domestic travellers are urged to check provincial government web sites for official inter-provincial travel restrictions and requirements.
