As travel begins to reopen, the multi-day tour segment is cautiously relaunching its tours to prevent further spread of COVID-19. Many have used the pandemic to prepare new offerings, such as Abercrombie & Kent which announced a new partnership with private aviation firm Wheels Up to offer customized travel opportunities in locations such as East Africa and the U.S. Trafalgar Tours U.S. President Melissa DaSilva has highlighted the struggle to restart, and now wants to make sure that guests are safe by implementing a wellbeing director among other health and safety measures. In terms of vaccinations, DaSilva says the company wants guests to either be vaccinated or present a negative COVID-19 test before travel. Trips to Europe will require vaccinations with the group for convenience and also safety.
