Saudia Arabia said that it would impose a three-year travel ban on its citizens if they travel to any of the countries currently on its red list. “Red list” countries include Afghanistan, Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Pakistan, South Africa, Turkey, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates. An Saudi Arabian official said that travel to the prohibited countries is a violation of travel instructions and will lead to heavy penalties. In a separate statement, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said only citizens fully vaccinated will be allowed to travel internationally from 09AUG.
