Royal Caribbean is Flying Pax Home on a Private Jet if They Have COVID-19

Royal Caribbean announced that it will be taking passengers who have tested positive for COVID-19 back home on a private jet and a limo. The line said that vaccinated guests and children not yet eligible to be vaccinated who book a cruise sailing on or before OCT31 2021 will receive complimentary COVID-19 Assistance. This assistance includes a 100 per cent fare refund if a guest or their travel tests positive within 14 days prior to the cruise, pro-rated cruise fare refund if the cruise is cut short due to COVID-19, and costs covered for medical treatment onboard, any required land-based quarantine, and travel home for the guest and travel party if any of the group tests positive for COVID-19. One Royal Caribbean Blog contributor tested positive for COVID-19 and received attentive medical service, as well as a private jet and limo transport.
