Disney Cruise Ship Restart Delayed and Longer Cruises Removed

Disney Cruise Line has delayed the restart of Disney Fantasy from Florida, as well as adjusting cruises to make them shorter. Disney Fantasy was originally scheduled to sail from Port Canaveral on 04SEP, but this has now been pushed back to 11SEP 2021. Those guests who have paid their booking in full for the cancelled cruise have been offered the choice of a cruise credit that can be used on a future sailing or a full refund. The ship’s sailings have also been adjusted from week-long itineraries to four-night cruises. The new altered cruises will only call at Disney’s private island of Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. The new cruises are open for booking on 25AUG. Disney Cruise Line is hoping to return to week-long cruises in OCT, and hopes to provide an update before then.
