Vaccine Proof to Supersede Mask Mandates for Big Las Vegas Events

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak announced on 16AUG that large event operators will be allowed to opt out mask requirements as long as they can verify that attendees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. In addition, those partially vaccinated and children can still attend so long as they wear a mask. “If a large event venue chooses to require vaccination proof for all attendees, those that are FULLY vaccinated will be allowed to take their masks off,” Sisolak stated. He added that the exception was “not a mandate,” but an option available for those operating in venues with a 4,000 guest capacity or more.
