Virtuoso Reveals New List of Top Destinations for Luxury Travellers

A new report from luxury travel network Virtuoso identified the top destinations for luxury travellers with data and insight from its travel advisor network. A survey from the network showed that 45 per cent of respondents are looking to travel within the next three months. Americans are looking to top destination California for domestic travel, and number one Italy for an overseas trip. The top 10 international destinations for luxury travellers are Italy, Greece, France, Japan, Ireland, Australia, Spain, Scotland, Mexico, and Iceland. The survey also showed that 41 per cent of luxury travellers are considering a trip during the 2021 holiday season, and that 82 per cent are looking into more sustainable travel in the future, among other results.
