Abu Dhabi Reopens Borders to International Travellers

Abu Dhabi has reopened its borders to all fully vaccinated international travellers as of 05SEP. Unvaccinated visitors from green list countries will also be welcomed with no quarantine requirements. For entry, tourists must register their international vaccination certificate or vaccination exemption document for verification five days before their travel date, according to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi. All vaccinated arrivals from green list countries must show a negative PCR test 48 hours before departure and then take another test at the airport upon arrival. While no quarantine is required, travellers will also then be required to provide a negative test on day six of their stay. Similar requirements apply for those coming from non-green list countries, but instead of taking a test on day six of their stay, travellers must take a PCR test on days four and eight.
