Hard to Imagine: Disney Cruise Might Sail Without Children Due to Vax Mandate

Disney Cruise Line’s upcoming 14-night cruise aboard Disney Wonder in NOV 2021 may have to sail child-free due to a new vaccination mandate from the line. All guests aboard the 05NOV sailing from San Diego to Texas are required to be vaccinated regardless of age, but children under the age of 12 are not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. If the U.S. FDA has not yet greenlit the vaccine for children 11 and under by the time of sailing, the Wonder will have to sail child-free. Travel advisor clients still looking to sail with the children under the age of 12 may look into Disney Wonder’s three to four-night sailings from San Diego to Mexico instead, which will operate with a less rigid vaccine mandate.
