Carnival has announced plans for more ship restarts in JAN and FEB 2022 as it works to return its entire fleet to sailing from the U.S. by spring 2022. Carnival Sunshine will restart from Charleston on 13JAN, and Carnival Liberty will follow from Port Canaveral on 11FEB. By FEB 2022, the cruise line announced that it will have returned to 90 per cent of its U.S.-based capacity. Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, said that it continues to carefully monitor the status of public health and will adjust its operating protocols accordingly.
