Air Transat has resumed flights to Puerto Plata after several months of suspension due to COVID-19. The airline operated its first flight between YUL and POP on 14OCT, which was welcomed by the airport team at Puerto Plata (pictured, above). Air Transat notes that three direct flights per week will be offered between YUL and POP.
Punta Cana (PUJ), in the Dominican Republic is currently served from YUL with three direct flights per week and from YYZ with two direct flights per week.
Air Transat notes that its capacity to the Dominican Republic will be progressively increased over the next few months, with a list of destinations below.
