Cruise Deals and Prizes for Advisors as Air Canada Vacations Promotes New Online Flight, Cruise Booking Feature

Exuma, the Bahamas

Air Canada Vacations has launched its new "Pack & Learn" game to promote its newest feature, where advisors can book flight and cruise packages online.

As the game runs through mid-NOV on the ACV&ME agent portal, participants have the chance to earn 200 ACV&ME points for playing and a chance to win CAD $25 Amazon gift cards. In participation with Carnival Cruise Line, the interactive experience provides learning opportunities on the benefits of booking cruise packages online with ACV.

“We’re always looking to simplify the reservation experience for our travel agent partners, and the addition of online Cruise and Flight package bookings to our website does just that,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President, Air Canada Vacations.

“We wanted to take it a step further by adding some gamification that gets them really excited to learn about these new capabilities, allowing them to earn prizes and have some fun while they’re at it.”

Pack & Learn is available to all trade partners with an ACV&ME account. To participate, agents must login to their ACV&ME account and access the game by clicking on pop-up message, where it can be played on this web site.

Once all questions are answered, agents will automatically earn 200 ACV&ME points or get a chance to win a CAD $25 Amazon gift card courtesy of Carnival Cruise Line with a score of 80% or higher.

Air Canada Vacations also highlights its recently extended "Buy One, Get One at 50%" deal for those who have clients looking to cruise again. The tour operator is offering 50 per cent off flights for the 2nd passenger when booking clients’ Caribbean cruises, sailing by 31OCT 2022, and the chance to earn CAD $50 Bonus commission for all bookings made online.

The offer is applicable to new individual bookings for Flight & Cruise packages to the Caribbean in economy class fare only, made between 20SEP and 12DEC 2021 for departures between 21SEP 2021 and 31OCT 2022 for all sailings and cabin categories.

The tour operator is also offering USD $150 in onboard credits per cabin when booking clients' Flight & Cruise package as a group until 31DEC. This group offer is valid between 19OCT and 31DEC for all lines and sailings to balcony and higher staterooms.

When booking a Flight & Cruise package by 25NOV for travel between 10SEP 2021 and 31OCT 2022, advisors can save clients up to CAD $300 in flight credits per couple. In addition, cruise air rates can be secured before they become available in the system with Pre-Registration that locks in their price for cruise bookings made more than 11 months in advance, where Air Canada Vacations is unable to offer confirmed flights. Air Canada Vacations notes that its team will contact agents 11 months prior to the departure date to confirm availability and book the required segments.

The tour operator also highlights its Cruise Promise, which allows customers to book flights with no deposit when booked online as a Flight & Cruise package and pay a reduced Cruise deposit of CAD $50 per person, plus one free checked baggage will all cruise packages. According to the operator, all flights are fully refundable up to 24 hours prior to departure. The program also features CAD $50 flight credit when booking a Flight and Cruise package with a Future Cruise Credit, and 5% commission on flights.
