Royal Caribbean’s Richard Fain Says More Bookings Coming from Internet than Advisors; and He Wants That to Change

As cruise demand returns, Royal Caribbean Group CEO says that a surge in bookings is coming from the internet but not travel agencies, and Fain wants that trend to change. Fain expressed his understanding of the struggles advisors had to go through during the pandemic, and that these struggles have limited sales. However, he was clear in saying: "We need you, our travel partners, to reach our full potential." Fain also added that travel advisors should reap the rewards of assuring cruisers that it was safe to sail again in the first place.
