Canadian snowbirds are gearing up to drive to the U.S. as the land border is set to reopen on 08NOV. CTV News reports that many snowbirds have waited to drive instead of flying over, as they prefer the convenience of having a vehicle to move around. Vacasa, a management company for over 30,000 vacation homes in North America, Belize and Costa Rica, said it saw a rise in traffic to its platform after the new rules were announced. Canadian users' views at rentals in “snowbird-popular” destinations jumped by 120 per cent.
