Not Just the Land Border with Canada: U.S. Relaxes Travel Ban for 33 Countries Starting Today

While the U.S. has reopened its land border with Canada today on 08NOV, it has also relaxed its travel ban for 33 countries, including China, India, much of Europe, and its southern land border with Mexico. American policy has moved from regional bans to assessing risks of individuals, requiring both vaccination, plus, for air arrivals, testing. As of 08NOV, travellers who can show official proof of vaccination against COVID-19 and have had a recent, negative viral test can again fly to the U.S.
