Virtuoso Clients Taking Longer Trips

Virtuoso recently concluded its 2021 Symposium in Vienna, where 329 industry executives from 33 countries discussed the challenges, opportunities, and the future of luxury travel. One trend identified by Senior VP of Network Products and Strategy David Kolner, is the increasing length of trips taken by Virtuoso clients. Comparing OCT, NOV, and DEC of 2019 to the same months in 2021, trip lengths have increased, respectively, by 115 per cent, 132 per cent, and 163 per cent. Kolner also noted that JAN 2022 stays are 163 per cent longer than the same month in 2020, which indicates that Virtuoso may continue to see this consumer behavior in the future.
