Ottawa to Approve Pfizer COVID Vaccine for 5-11 Year Olds on 19NOV: Report

The Toronto Star reports that Health Canada will approve Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 on 19NOV. According to sources, a delivery of three million doses of the vaccine is expected within the coming days, enough for a first dose of every eligible Canadian child. Public officials have added that children could be eligible for vaccination by the end of NOV 2021. This comes as welcome news for those looking to travel across borders and especially to cruise with the whole family in the near future, particularly on cruise lines which require 100 per cent vaccination, such as Norwegian Cruise Line, or Disney Cruise Line as of 13JAN 2022.
