CLIA is calling out the CDC for what it views as unfair treatment more than a year after being shut down by the health authority in U.S. waters during the pandemic. “The outdated CSO, which was issued almost five months ago, does not reflect the industry’s proven advancements and success operating in other parts of the world, nor the advent of vaccines," said CLIA’s CEO. But the CDC confirmed Wednesday for the first time that the conditional sailing order will remain in effect until 01NOV and that next phases are in the works.
