New data from Visit Florida found that Q3 2021 visitors to the state numbered at 32m, 60 per cent higher than the same period in 2020, and squeaking just higher - 0.3 per cent - than Q3 2019. Domestic visitors accounted for 96 per cent of the 32m visitors, but international tourist numbers are expected to soar as the U.S. reopened to visitors.
