Flair to Fly Out of YUL for the First Time this Summer

A Flair Airlines plane.Flair Airlines will begin flying out of YUL starting 01JUL, 2021, with direct flights to Toronto, Vancouver, Halifax and Abbotsford.

“Providing affordable air travel within Canada is an essential first step in restarting travel and tourism. We know there is a need for ULCC service in Montreal and are thrilled to bring our low fares to the area,” said Stephen Jones, President & CEO.

In JAN, Flair announced it is expanding its fleet with 13 new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. With this delivery, the company said it aims to further increase its network across Canada. It has also released a summer schedule with expanded summer service to 18 Canadian destinations.

Flair continues to operate only essential service through APR and will begin increasing flights in MAY as vaccinations continue and travel returns.

Bookings are now open for the new routes out of YUL for travel through 30OCT, 2021.

Earlier this month, Reuters reported the ULCC is planning a “European-Style relaunch” inspired by the austerity that transformed Hungary’s Wizz Air into one of Europe’s largest carriers.
