G Adventures Offers Bonus 2% Commission To Celebrate Travel Agent Appreciation Day

G Adventures Agent Sale
Costa Rica La Fortuna Canyoneering Waterfall

To celebrate Travel Agent Appreciation Day on 05MAY, G Adventures is awarding Canadian advisors a bonus 2% commission on new bookings made between 03MAY and 15MAY, 2021, for travel before 31JAN, 2022.

Additionally, the tour operator is extending its 15% off Classic trips sale throughout the month of MAY. The discount applies to a selection of tours across the Classic trip portfolio, all of which can be combined with the 2% commission bonus for new bookings made.

David Green, VP commercial for G Adventures, says the additional 2% commission is designed to thank agents for their continued passion, dedication and resilience during the toughest time the travel industry has ever faced.

“This past year has not been easy, but our agency partners have stood by us and continued to inspire their customers to book a life-changing adventure with G Adventures. The commitment of agents deserves more than just a thank-you this Travel Agent Appreciation Day. We want to reward them with some extra cash, and more bookings, so they can in turn get back to doing what they do best, sending people on their dream adventures."

“We’re through the worst of the pandemic and with more people knowing when they will be fully vaccinated now is the time to be encouraging people to book for late 2021 and to inspire confidence. We’re seeing new bookings consistently rise month over month, and our consumer research indicates that as more people get vaccinated the more they are ready to book."

“There is so much pent up demand - new bookings are increasing and people are looking at international travel from September onwards. I know how tough this past year has been for everyone, and we will continue to support our beloved agents any way we can,” concluded Green.

Example itineraries included in the 15% off Classic trip sale are:

  • Costa Rica Quest - Plus -  This tour of Costa Rica’s highlights is ideal for an adventurer with limited time who wants to explore the region’s diversity. Travellers will follow a trail to the base of a waterfall, visit the thermal springs, and relax on a beach in the secluded spots only the locals know. This nine-day trip is now priced from $1,104pp.

  • Best of Egypt -  This eight-day journey through Egypt gives adventurers the opportunity to explore the ancient sites along the Nile and discover the Great Pyramid of Giza. Travellers will also be able to sample some traditional fare with a Nubian family in a local village. This trip is now priced from $1,147pp.

  • Best of Iceland Plus - This seven-day trip gives travellers enough free time to experience plenty of the highlights, like erupting geysers, visiting glacier lagoons, and exploring waterfalls and black-sand beaches. This trip is now priced from $2,320pp.

To receive the 2% commission, agents should be registered on Sherpa and use the code GNORMOUS for the bonus commission to be applied.
